2025 SEASON - REGISTRATION CLOSES APRIL 6, 2025:

REGULAR HOUSE LEAGUE SEASON (In Olds Only)

U5 TEAMS
Note: this is a pilot program which will not proceed unless there is a volunteer U5 Coordinator who will work with the Soccer Board to manage logistics, parent participation (2 per group), and enough interest/players to form teams.

• Players born between Jan 1, 2020 and Dec 31, 2021
• Cost: $100 per player
• Anticipated to take place on Tuesdays from from 5:00pm - 5:45pm (to be confirmed) @ Rotary Athletic Park 
  
  

U7 TEAMS:

• Players born between Jan 1, 2018 and Dec 31, 2019
• Cost: $135 per player
• Tuesday (practice) & Thursday (game) from 6:00pm - 6:45pm @ Rotary Athletic Park
• Note: There will be a maximum of 80 registrants permitted in this group - no exceptions!

• Players born between Jan 1, 2016 and Dec 31, 2017
• Cost: $135 per player
• Tuesday (practice) & Thursday (game) from 7:00pm - 8:00pm @ Rotary Athletic Park

BIG COUNTRY SOCCER ASSOCIATION (BCSA) TEAMS (Travel within BCSA boundaries)

Note: BCSA will release all official schedules on April 22, 2025. 

U11 TEAMS (see below for info on the U11 Tournament Teams):

• Players born between Jan 1, 2014 and Dec 31, 2015
• Cost: $150 per player
• Mondays - Game days - start at 7:00pm
• Wednesdays - Practices in Olds at Rotary Park 6:00pm - 7:00pm

• Cost: $155 per player
• Tuesdays - Game days - start at 7:00pm

• Players born between Jan 1, 2010 and Dec 31, 2011
• Cost: $165 per player
• Mondays - Practices in Olds at Rotary Park 6:00pm - 7:30pm
• Wednesdays - Game days - start at 7:00pm

U17 TEAMS:

• Players born between Jan 1, 2008 and Dec 31, 2009
• Cost: $170 per player

U19 TEAMS:

• Players born between Jan 1, 2006 and Dec 31, 2007
• Cost: $170 per player

• Sundays - Game days - start at 7:00pm

U9 Super Mustangs:

We’re excited to offer U9 players an opportunity to elevate their game by trying out for the newly established U9 competitive "Super Mustangs" team. This team will compete in a U9 competitive league within Big Country Soccer Association. Participation is exclusive to Olds Minor Soccer U9 players and local residents. 

• Players born between Jan 1, 2016 and Dec 31, 2017
• Successful candidates showcasing advanced skills may secure a spot on the U9 competitive "Super Mustangs" team for the regular season, and will compete within Big Country Soccer Association's district. 
• You must register for the tryouts.
• Once the team is formed, selected members will need to complete a separate registration and pay a season fee of $150. 
• As with all programs, forming these teams will depend on having sufficient player registrations in each age group.
• This team will be offered as co-ed.

Tryout Information:

Dates: Saturday, March 8^th and Saturday, March 22^nd, 2025
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Location: Didsbury Memorial Complex Arena, 1702 21 Ave, Didsbury, AB 

Registration Details:

Opens: February 1st
Closes: March 6^th (one month earlier than regular season registration)
Tryout Fee: A non-refundable $25 tryout fee is required, which covers participation in both tryout sessions

U11, U13, U15 Tournament Teams:

For those looking for advanced, highly competitive soccer, our U11, U13, and U15 Tournament Teams are the perfect fit. These teams compete in Tiers 2 or 3, offering a much more competitive environment compared to regular season teams, which generally play in Tier 4. This opportunity is available to all of Central Alberta, so tell your friends!

• Compete in Tiers 2 & 3: Take your game to the next level and compete in a highly competitive soccer environment.
• Full Program! Includes 2 weekly practices in Olds, competitive exhibition games and up to 3 competitive tournaments (last year, teams competed in tournaments in Airdrie, Red Deer, and Lethbridge - one per month in May, June and July). Players also receive a full uniform kit, including an Olds Mustangs soccer jersey, shorts, and socks, and a Olds Mustangs track suit with pants and jacket (last year’s brand was PUMA, and this year, we’re checking out Adidas!).
• Tournaments are FUN! Last year, our teams had an amazing time competing across Alberta and some even came home with sweet hardware!

The all-inclusive fee covers registration, tournaments, practices, exhibition games and uniforms—everything you need for an awesome soccer experience! Please note that, as with all programs, forming these teams will depend on having sufficient player registrations in each age group. These teams will be offered as co-ed.

 Important Notes:

1. Any registrations that are accepted and processed after the registration closing date of April 6, 2025 will be subject to a $30 late fee.
2. Any approved refunds (for medical reasons, accompanied by a Doctor's note) will be charged a $15 processing fee. 
3. All players within the Big Country Soccer Association (U11, U13, U15, and U17/19) will be required to provide a $100 jersey bond. This must be in the form of a post-dated cheque, which will be destroyed at the end of the season upon return of the player's jersey in good, clean, and reusable condition. Jersey bonds must be provided prior to a player receiving their jersey. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
